Exterior Reconditioning
The Touch of Class Auto Reconditioning department is qualified to examine paint finishes and recommend the right treatment for your vehicle. The vehicle surface is prepared by washing and dissolving tar residue to smooth out the finish for polishing and waxing. After this either two to three steps are used to bring the vehicle finish to a gleaming result. Sometimes high speed buffing is required to alleviate scratches in the finish. This is done by trained professionals in the detail department. Less deep surface marks are polished out with a low speed buffer called an orbital polisher. Sometimes a middle step is done to insure that there are no swirls or choppy appearances in finish. This is exceptionally helpful on dark cars where swirls are very noticeable. Vehicles often done by other reconditioning shops where the high speed wheel operators are not properly trained will produce an end product with swirls or chops in the finish. This is caused by what is called over cutting the finish and makes a disappointing finish when the sun shines on it. The final step is a long lasting wax (Mothers Natural Wax) that is necessary for the future protection of the vehicle. Also, wheel wells are cleaned and dressed. All exterior moldings are cleaned and treated also.
Interior Auto Cleaning
Touch of Class can make your interior look truly magnificent. We shampoo every piece of fabricant in the interior with a fresh pleasant smelling shampoo that leaves the velour or carpet clean and refreshed. Leather seats are cleaned and treated with Mothers pH balanced leather treatment protection. If stains are permanent Touch of Class offers minor dyeing to cover up portions of carpet that will not clean up.
